Hard to choose one favorite - I love my Naughtvind bibs, I wear them on every winter ride, in combination with other pieces they are perfect for every temperature and condition. I also love my Red Wing edition Wölvhammer Boots. 45NRTH boots were a game-changer for me as I used to to struggle with cold feet, no matter my strategy. Now I’m able to get out and be comfy in any temperature.
FAVORITE, OR MOST NOTABLE, WINTER FAT BIKE ACCOMPLISHMENT OR EXPERIENCE:
3rd place 2017-18 Great Lakes Fat Bike Series. A favorite memory was finishing a 45 mile single track race in single digit temps, I was so afraid of the race and so proud of getting it done. Also, my first Fat Bike Birkie (2015) on a super heavy bike, never so happy to see that finish line, and then go shopping for a lighter bike!
BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE TO A NEW RIDER:
Don’t be so hard on yourself! Be patient and have fun - skill building will come naturally.
